Update active legend
Update the Excel legend link for the active view or the selection.
1. Purpose
Refreshes the linked Excel content for the open legend (or the selected legend/viewport) with no dialog at all. Use it daily: Excel numbers change, one click, and the legend on the drawing follows.

3. Steps
- Open the legend to refresh — or select 1 legend / 1 legend viewport right on the sheet. [image 01: legend open for refresh]
- Click Update active legend in the VP_LAYOUT tab, Excel Link panel — no dialog appears.
- The tool checks the legend's Excel link, updates it, and reports "Đã hoàn tất cập nhật Active." — read the report and you are done. [image 02: update-finished report]
4. Real-world example
A pipe quantity table links from the pricing file, which reprices every morning. Open the quantity legend on sheet A1-09, press Update active legend — ten seconds later the drawing matches this morning's Excel, in time for the afternoon issue print.
5. Common errors
