1. Purpose
Squares up the leader of every selected tag so its first leg comes out horizontal, instead of bending each leader by hand — the tags keep their own positions and heights, only the elbow angle is straightened. Use it when pipe and equipment tags on a plan sit crooked: fence them all and square the leaders in one click.
2. Quick video (≤ 2 minutes)
[Video in production — follow the steps below for now.]
3. Steps
- In the view, select the tags to align (independent tags or room/space tags — other element types are skipped silently). [image 01: many tags selected]
- Click ADTags-H inside the Adjust tags group in the VP_LAYOUT tab, Layout panel.
- The tool bends every valid tag leader horizontal in a single pass — non-tag elements are skipped without errors. [image 02: tags before and after horizontal alignment]
4. Real-world example
A level-2 plan has 30 diffuser tags placed by hand with leaders at random angles. Fence all 30, press ADTags-H — three seconds later each leader leaves its tag horizontally and then runs straight to the host, and the view is tidy enough for its sheet.
5. Common errors
| Symptom (tool message, Vietnamese) | Fix |
|---|---|
| "Hãy chọn tag trước khi chạy lệnh." | Nothing selected — select tags first, then run |
| "Danh sách chọn không có tag hợp lệ." | Selection holds no IndependentTag/SpatialElementTag — reselect real tags |
