1. Purpose
Squares up the leader of every selected tag so its first leg comes out vertical, instead of bending each leader by hand — the tags keep their own positions and widths, only the elbow angle is straightened. Use it when tags stack in a column beside equipment with leaders jutting at random angles.
2. Quick video (≤ 2 minutes)
[Video in production — follow the steps below for now.]
3. Steps
- In the view, select the tags to align (independent tags or room/space tags — other element types are skipped silently). [image 01: vertical tag column selected]
- Click ADTags-V inside the Adjust tags group in the VP_LAYOUT tab, Layout panel.
- The tool bends every valid tag leader vertical in a single pass — non-tag elements are skipped without errors. [image 02: tags before and after vertical alignment]
4. Real-world example
An equipment legend runs down the right edge of the plan with 15 tags whose leaders poke in and out. Fence the whole column, press ADTags-V — each leader leaves its tag vertically and then runs straight to the host.
5. Common errors
| Symptom (tool message, Vietnamese) | Fix |
|---|---|
| "Hãy chọn tag trước khi chạy lệnh." | Nothing selected — select tags first, then run |
| "Danh sách chọn không có tag hợp lệ." | Selection holds no IndependentTag/SpatialElementTag — reselect real tags |
