Connect the farthest sprinkler (ASKPipe2)
Filter and process the ASKPipe2 pipe group.
1. Purpose
Runs the branch along the farthest SK when the sprinkler row has no clear straight direction like ASKPipe1 needs. The tool finds the farthest SK and uses it to build the trunk axis, offering a Tee finish (trunk overshoots the SK by 300 mm) or an Elbow finish (trunk ends exactly at the farthest SK).

3. Steps
- Pre-select all sprinklers to connect. [image 01: selecting many SKs]
- Click ASKPipe2 in the VP_MEP tab, Fire fighting panel.
- Pick 1 point on a sample pipe — the tool learns pipe type, system, and level from it.
- A dialog asks which farthest-SK style to use: pick Tee so the trunk runs 300 mm past the farthest SK, or Elbow so it ends right at the farthest SK. [image 02: Tee/Elbow picker dialog]
- If the tool cannot build the axis, it asks for one reference SK — pick a sprinkler that represents the row's direction.
- The tool draws the DN25 trunk and joins each SK, reporting how many connected out of the total.
4. Real-world example
A big meeting room has 9 sprinklers scattered around, the farthest one in the corner. Select all 9, run the command, pick the sample, choose Elbow — the trunk runs exactly to the corner SK and all 9 join in, no manual direction measuring.
5. Common errors
