1. Purpose
Bundles the selected sheets into a named print set, so the next print run only needs the set name — no reselecting sheets one by one. Use it when submissions go out in batches: one batch, one print set.

[Video in production — follow the steps below for now.]
3. Steps
- In the Project Browser, select the sheets in this print batch (hold Ctrl for multi-select). [image 01: selected sheets in the Project Browser]
- Click Create print set in the VP_LAYOUT tab, Print panel.
- The print-set naming dialog shows a name box (default
VP) — type a memorable batch name such asBatch1-A1and click OK. [image 02: print-set naming dialog] - The tool saves the set. To print, run Print sheets — the new set already sits in the picker list. [image 03: new print set in the print dialog list]
4. Real-world example
This week submits batch 1: 15 architecture sheets. Select the 15 sheets, run the command, name it Batch1-Arch, OK. Next week's reprint only needs the print dialog plus Batch1-Arch — all 15 sheets, none missing.
5. Common errors
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| The created set comes out empty | No sheets were selected before clicking — select sheets in the Project Browser, then rerun |
| Name collides with an older print set | The tool overwrites the same-named set — rename, or accept the replacement and recheck the sheet list |
| Printout misses sheets | A set freezes at creation time — sheets added later need the set recreated/overwritten before reprinting |
