Keep only sprinklers in the selection (FilterSK)
Keep exactly the fire sprinklers in the current selection, including sprinklers inside groups.
1. Purpose
Gathers exactly the sprinklers (SK) before running batch commands like ASKPipe1, ASKPipe2, or Set DN by SK. Select a messy mix of pipes, lights, ceilings — this command shrinks the selection down to SKs only, including SKs inside groups.
2. Quick video (≤ 2 minutes)
[Video in production — follow the steps below for now.]
3. Steps
- Select the area containing sprinklers (select generously, other objects may be included). [image 01: mixed-object selection]
- Run the FilterSK command (the SK filter — the current build has no dedicated ribbon button for it).
- The selection shrinks to sprinklers only, duplicates removed automatically. [image 02: post-filter selection with SKs only]
- Continue with ASKPipe1, ASKPipe2, or Set DN by SK on this clean selection.
4. Real-world example
A floor plan has 60 sprinklers scattered inside typical-room groups, mixed with cable trays and ducts. Select the whole floor, then filter SK — the selection holds exactly the 60 SKs, ready for a batch ASKPipe1 run with no stray objects.
5. Common errors
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| "Vui lòng chọn Elements." | Select at least 1 object before running the command |
| The selection is empty after filtering | The original selection had no sprinklers — check again |
| Grouped SKs missing from the selection | Rerun (the tool unpacks group members; verify the group really holds SKs) |
