1. Purpose
Snapshots the open view's state (zoom region, 3D orientation, section box) for later recall via Sync view or live tracking via 3D sync. Only plans, 3D views, and sheets are supported — other views are refused outright.

3. Steps
- Open the view to save (plan, 3D, or sheet) and set its zoom/orientation/section box exactly right. [image 01: view framed as desired]
- Click Save sync inside Save & sync views in the VP_MEP tab, View panel.
- The tool saves the view state silently (no dialog): zoom corners, 3D orientation with perspective/orthographic mode, section box if active. [image 02: the same view as sync reference]
- Switch to another view of the same kind and click Sync view to jump to the saved state.
4. Real-world example
Reviewing floor 5's plan zoomed snug onto the restroom core. Click Save sync, switch to floor 6's plan, click Sync view — floor 6 shows the identical zoom region, comparing floors with no pan-and-search.
5. Common errors
