Live-sync 3D angles (3DSync)
Quickly sync the 3D view orientation between views.
1. Purpose
Makes many 3D views track one reference plan in real time: pan the plan anywhere, the 3D views rotate along. Use it for model reviews — steer with one hand while many 3D angles follow, no per-view orbiting.
2. Quick video (≤ 2 minutes)
[Video in production — follow the steps below for now.]
3. Steps
- Open 1 plan as reference plus at least 1 3D view to follow. [image 01: reference plan and 3D views open together]
- Click 3DSync inside Save & sync views in the VP_MEP tab, View panel.
- In the dialog, pick the reference plan and tick the 3D views to sync, then Start. [image 02: plan-plus-3D selection dialog]
- Pan/zoom the reference plan — the 3D views rotate along live. The tool remembers the last selection, so next time it starts right away.
- To stop: reopen the dialog and press Stop. [image 03: pressing Stop to end syncing]
4. Real-world example
A coordination meeting with 2 screens: floor 8's plan left, 2 3D angles (NE, SW) right. Start 3DSync on the plan — drag the plan to any grid, both 3D views swing there, the whole room looks at one spot.
5. Common errors
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| "Khong the bat dau dong bo 3D." | Check the reference plan and 3D views are still open, then Start again |
| "Khong co tien trinh dong bo 3D nao dang chay." on Stop | No session is running — just carry on |
| Panning the plan moves no 3D view | Check the session is still on; Start again if stopped |
