1. Purpose
Hides (or re-shows) revision clouds across many sheets at once instead of switching the category off sheet by sheet. Use it for a clean issue: kill every old revision mark so the print carries no leftover markup.
2. Quick video (≤ 2 minutes)
[Video in production — follow the steps below for now.]
3. Steps
- Select the sheets in the Project Browser (hold Ctrl for many). The command only scans what is selected. [image 01: sheets selected in the Project Browser]
- Click Turn off cloud in the VP_LAYOUT tab, Sheets panel.
- In the dialog choose Hide Revision Clouds (or Show Revision Clouds to bring them back) — picking the command link runs the action. [image 02: hide/show choice dialog]
- The tool hides/shows the cloud category on each sheet and reports processed vs skipped counts — read the report and you are done. [image 03: Updated/Skipped report]
4. Real-world example
Issue 5 is due and 30 sheets still carry clouds from issues 1–4. Select the 30 sheets in the Project Browser, run the command, choose Hide — one minute later the set is cloud-free and the issue print shows no stale markup.
5. Common errors
| Symptom (tool message, Vietnamese) | Fix |
|---|---|
| "Không có sheet hợp lệ để xử lý." | Nothing selected — select sheets in the Project Browser, then rerun |
| Some sheets report Skipped | Those sheets cannot hide the cloud category (locked/permissions) — inspect each skipped sheet |
