1. Purpose
Copies a finished crop region from one model view to one other view of the same type in one click, instead of reopening the target view and dragging its crop from scratch. Use it when floor plans must share the exact same crop frame for a uniform sheet set — copy the source onto each target view, one view at a time.

3. Steps
- Keep at least 2 eligible views open (Plan/Section/Elevation only — no templates, no sheets): one neatly cropped source plus the target view. [image 01: several view tabs open]
- Click Copy crop view in the VP_LAYOUT tab, Layout panel.
- In the dialog, pick the source view and the target view, then click Copy. [image 02: source-and-target picker dialog]
- The tool copies the crop into the target view and shows a per-property result (OK/SKIP/FAIL) — if source and target are different view types (e.g. Plan source vs Section target) the command stops with an error before copying anything. [image 03: copy result table]
4. Real-world example
12 floor plans, level 1 already cropped nicely. Open level 1 and level 2, run the command, pick level 1 as source and level 2 as target, click Copy — level 2 now shares level 1's exact crop frame; repeat pair by pair until all 12 views match, then place them on 3 A1 sheets.
5. Common errors
