1. Purpose

Copies the full grid network plus grid-only dimensions from one source plan to many target plans in one click — grids land in position upstairs and their dims follow. Use it for repetitive towers: draw grids once, clone to the other eleven levels.

3. Steps

Open the source plan with finished grids plus every target plan — the dialog only lists floor plans that are already open — and make sure every grid is already 2D (the command refuses 3D/model-extent grids — run Cover grid 2D first). [image 01: source plan with 2D grids]
Click Copy grid between floors in the VP_LAYOUT tab, Layout panel.
In the dialog, pick 1 source view and tick the target plan views, then click Sao chép. [image 02: source-and-target picker dialog]
The tool rebuilds each grid on the targets, carries over grid-only dims, and summarizes per view — open a target level to check. [image 03: grids now on the target level]

4. Real-world example

Level 1 has 13 grids plus 4 dim strings done. Open levels 2–12 alongside, run the command, pick level 1 as source, tick levels 2–12 as targets, click Sao chép — five minutes later all 11 levels carry correctly placed grids with dims, no hand-drawing 143 grids.

5. Common errors

Symptom (tool message, Vietnamese)	Fix
