1. Purpose
Resets the line weight of the crop-box boundary for every view placed on a batch of sheets at once, instead of opening each view by hand. Use it right before printing: the whole set needs one consistent crop-boundary weight to look clean.
2. Quick video (≤ 2 minutes)
[Video in production — follow the steps below for now.]
3. Steps
- Prepare the sheet list one of two ways: select nothing, run the command, and pick a saved print set — or pre-select schedules sitting on the sheets to process. [image 01: picking the print set in the dialog]
- Click Crop line weight in the VP_LAYOUT tab, Layout panel.
- Pick the target line weight in the dialog and click OK. [image 02: line-weight picker dialog]
- The tool walks every view on those sheets, resets the crop boundary weight, then shows a summary of processed views — read the report and you are done.
4. Real-world example
A 40-sheet set with uneven crop boundaries from many hands. Select nothing, run the command, pick the "Issue A1" print set, set weight 4, OK — two minutes later all 40 sheets share one boundary weight, ready to print.
5. Common errors
| Symptom (tool message, Vietnamese) | Fix |
|---|---|
| "Không tìm thấy sheet hợp lệ để xử lý." | The print set is empty or the chosen schedules sit on no sheet — check the print set |
| "Không tìm thấy view nào đang đặt trên các sheet đã chọn." | The sheets carry no views yet — place views on sheets first (see Put views in sheet) |
