1. Purpose
Creates many new sheets modelled on a template sheet (same title block, same view layout) in one click, instead of duplicating manually one by one. Use it for typical floors: one standard sheet, cloned across a dozen levels.

[Video in production — follow the steps below for now.]
3. Steps
- In the Project Browser, select one or more template sheets (hold Ctrl for multi-select). Only real sheets duplicate; placeholder sheets are skipped. [image 01: selected sheets in the Project Browser]
- Click Duplicate sheets in the VP_LAYOUT tab, Sheets panel.
- In the dialog, adjust the duplication settings (number prefix/suffix, copy count...) and click OK. [image 02: duplication settings dialog]
- The tool duplicates the sheets per the settings and shows a result report. Double-check the new sheet numbers in the Project Browser. [image 03: new sheets in the Project Browser]
4. Real-world example
Sheet A-201 already lays out the typical floor. Select it in the Project Browser, run the command, set the per-floor suffix, OK — A-202 through A-212 for the 11 remaining floors appear at once. Then use Set number to renumber them to match.
5. Common errors
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| "Select one or more sheets in Project Browser and run again" | Nothing selected — select sheets in the Project Browser first (not views in the canvas) |
| Placeholder sheets never duplicate | Placeholders are not real sheets — create real sheets from them, then rerun |
| New sheet numbers collide | Change the prefix/suffix in the settings dialog, then rerun |
